Due to a technical glitch on the website, the prices were shown to be discounted by almost ₹ 48,000
Triumph has issued a statement clarifying that there has been no change in pricing for the Street Triple 765 R and 765 RS models in India. There was a glitch on the company's official website which led to news of discounts being offered on the Triumph Street Triple 765 R and RS. This has now been rectified and customers can visit the company's official website for the most up-to-date pricing and information on the Street Triple 765 R and RS models.
Triumph apologises for any confusion caused by the technical error. The Triumph Street Triple 765 R maintains its price tag of ₹ 10.17 lakh (ex-showroom), while the Street Triple 765 RS remains at ₹ 11.81 lakh (ex-showroom).
In the Triumph Street Triple 765 series, both models are powered by a 765cc liquid-cooled inline-3 engine, though with different power outputs. The Triumph Street Triple 765 R produces 120 bhp, while the Triumph Street Triple 765 RS has 130 bhp. The Triumph Street Triple R has a Showa Separate Function fork and a Showa monoshock, while the Triumph Street Triple RS steps it up with a Showa Big Piston USD fork and an Öhlins piggyback reservoir monoshock. Both bikes offer riders full adjustability to personalise their suspension setup for optimal performance on any road.
Braking performance is impressive, with both motorcycles equipped with twin 310mm floating discs at the front. The Triumph Street Triple R uses Brembo M4.32 callipers, while the Triumph Street Triple RS gets the higher-spec Brembo Stylema callipers. Tyre options remain distinct between the two models. The Triumph Street Triple R comes with Continental ContiRoad tyres, while the Triumph Street Triple RS is shod with the grippier Pirelli Supercorsa SP V3 tyres. This difference reflects the slightly sportier nature of the RS.
Triumph also stated that the Street Triple 765 R and RS have been incredibly well-received by Indian customers since its launch last year and it attributed this success to the motorcycles' exceptional performance, ride quality, and cutting-edge engineering.
