With an extra dash of e-tron innovation, the Audi Q8 e-tron's exterior design maintains the recognisable presence of its predecessors. The distinct touch display is positioned in the centre and is slightly angled towards the driver. It offers an innovative and easy user experience and premium infotainment offerings. The Q8 e-tron comes in two variants: the Q8 50 e-tron and the Q8 55 e-tron. The Q8 Sportback e-tron is a close version of the Q8 e-tron with a slightly different body design. Both variants of the Q8 e-tron come with power-packed battery capacities of 95 kWh for the 50 e-tron and 114 kWh for the 55 e-tron. The Audi Q8 e-tron features dynamic red brake callipers highlighting the car's high-voltage technology. Interior and Features

The Audi Q8 e-tron offers the most abundant in-cabin experience thanks to a fusion of design and technology. Every inch of it seems purposeful and upscale in classic Audi fashion. First up, there is the Valcona & Milano leather seat upholstery and the leather & leatherette combo upholstery. These offer the best comfort possible for front-seat passengers. Additional seating features include massage and ventilation attributes, power adjustment with memory function, 4-way lumbar support, and a heater. A panoramic roof adds to the interior's feeling of lightness and space by illuminating it from above.

The 12.03-inch instrument panel is encircled by the wraparound dash panel, which also perfectly integrates the hood above the Audi virtual cockpit, all while following the elegant curve of the vehicle. The contour and ambient lighting package includes six pre-defined colour profiles and an additional interactive, bespoke colour profile that may be adjusted using the Audi drive choose modes. 

The Audi Q8 e-tron has a 4-zone temperature control system, including air conditioning. It includes a 360-degree camera system, a twin-spoke leather steering wheel with shift paddles, and the Air Quality Package. 

There's also an 8.6-inch touchscreen for climate settings and a 10.1-inch infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. Audi Q8 e-tron Battery Capacity

The Audi Q8 50 e-tron has a robust battery of 95 kWh, and the Audi Q8 55 e-tron has a 114-kWh battery. The Q8 50 e-tron offers a power of 335.25 bhp(250 kW) with a torque of 664 Nm. It can go from 0 to 100 /h in 6.0 seconds and reach a top speed of 200km/hr. The Audi Q8 55 e-tron provides a power of 402.30 bhp(300kW) with a torque of 664 Nm. It can reach a top speed of 200 km/h and from 0 to 100 km/hr in 5.6 seconds. 

Two chargers are provided with the car. The 11 kW AC compact charging station can charge the Audi Q8 e-tron at home or work. The Audi Q8 e-tron also has an optional 22 kW onboard charger that can be used at some Audi shops and public AC charging stations. High-output DC charging stations may provide up to 170 kW of DC charging power for the Audi Q8 e-tron. It takes 26 minutes to charge from 20% to 80% and 31 minutes from 10% to 80%.

Safety

Like Audi's other vehicles, the Q8 e-tron has the most recent safety technology. The safety experts at Euro NCAP gave it the highest possible five-star rating, with ratings of 91% for adult protection and 85% and 76%, respectively, for child protection and safety assistance systems. 

There are eight full-size airbags in the Audi Q8 e-tron. These consist of the head airbag, side airbags on the front and rear, and front airbags. Audi Q8 e-tron: Old vs Facelift

The Audi Q8 e-tron facelift was launched on August 18, 2023. It features a revamped exterior, slightly decreased boot space, increased range, and the addition of the Q8 prefix. However, most 2024 Audi Q8 e-tron features and cabin specs are similar to the previous models.

Exterior

With a well-proportioned but dull appearance that kept the same features from its ICE line, the preceding e-tron purposefully downplayed its electric qualities. The Q8 e-tron appears broader than it is because of the new mesh grille, which sticks out with black components that extend to the sides. Additionally, a light bar joins the gorgeous-looking LED Matrix headlights and spans the grille. However, the new 2D Audi logo, which debuted on the Q8 e-tron, is the talk of the town. The four interlocking rings' shapes form a conspicuous base upon which the logo is perched, finished in a solid white (or light grey) tone. There is no chrome present.

Additional modifications include redesigned, more aggressive-looking front and rear bumpers with the e-tron moniker subtly engraved and gloss black chin finishes. The new Q8 badge is attached to the tailboard, and if you scrutinise the blacked-out B-pillar, you can see faint etchings that say "Audi" and "Q8 e-tron quattro." A fresh set of 20-inch alloy wheels are also added to the Q8 e-tron.

Interior

The Q8 e-tron's cabin is excellent and quite comfy, and it hasn't changed much from the outgoing e-tron. Every feature, including the haptic touchscreen and the hefty drive selector, feels sturdy and of the highest quality. A-grade finishes also include brushed metal, black piano, and plastic. 

Features

The features of the outgoing and facelifted Q8 e-tron are almost the same. The boot space has decreased slightly from 600 litres to 569 litres. 

Engine and Gearbox

One improvement in the facelift model is the increased range of 600 km for the Q8 55 e-tron variant with a larger 114 kWh battery.
