BMW X7 is currently unavailable for purchase on ACKO Drive
The BMW X7 has three variants in India: the petrol-powered X7 xDrive40i M Sport and two diesel variants, the X7 xDrive40d Design Pure Excellence and X7 xDrive40d M Sport. These variants cater to different preferences and offer luxury, performance, and features.
The primary difference lies in the engine configuration. The X7 xDrive40i M Sport is powered by a 3.0-litre, 6-cylinder petrol engine that produces 375 bhp and 520 Nm of torque, while the diesel variants, xDrive40d Design Pure Excellence and xDrive40d M Sport, come with a 3.0-litre, 6-cylinder diesel engine producing 347 bhp and 700 Nm of torque. Both versions feature BMW's xDrive all-wheel-drive system, but the diesel engine offers higher torque for improved towing and fuel efficiency.
The X7 xDrive40d M Sport emphasises sportier aesthetics with M-specific design elements like blacked-out window surrounds, larger air intakes, and M badges. It also features sport-tuned suspension for a more dynamic driving experience. In contrast, the Design Pure Excellence variant focuses on luxury and comfort, offering a more refined design with chrome elements and additional plush interior features.
The facelift brought updates like the new split LED headlamps, a larger kidney grille, and revised bumpers for a sportier appearance. The new BMW Curved Display, combining a 14.9-inch touchscreen and a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, enhances the driving experience by integrating critical functions into a single interface. These updates are consistent across all variants, improving aesthetics and user experience.
The X7 xDrive40d M Sport variant is ideal for performance enthusiasts. Its diesel engine offers 700 Nm of torque, and the M Sport package includes sportier design elements and a more dynamic suspension setup. The power, torque, and sporty enhancements make it a top choice for those seeking a more exhilarating driving experience.
All BMW X7 variants come equipped with adaptive air suspension, which adjusts to different driving conditions and offers a comfortable ride. However, the M Sport variants, like the X7 xDrive40i M Sport and X7 xDrive40d M Sport, feature sport-tuned suspension, providing a firmer, more responsive driving experience compared to the more comfort-oriented Design Pure Excellence variant.
