Launched on 23rd May 2023, the Ferrari 296 GTS was a much-awaited luxury two-seater convertible coupe. The new 296 GTS is an open-top variant of Ferrari's latest mid-engined hybrid supercar, the 296 GTB. It advances Ferrari's concept for a two-seater, mid-rear-engined Berlinetta spider and is the second Ferrari model in the 296 lineup. 

The design language is reminiscent of the 296 GTB, except for minor tweaks to support the convertible hood. It reflects the typical features of a luxury sports car with its sloping and sharp hood and broad, muscular rear aesthetic. The Ferrari factor adds a touch of futuristic appeal all over. 

A noticeable step is between the roof and the characteristic 'aero bridge' that crosses the car's width. An additional window located at the bottom of the engine cover guarantees cabin comfort at high speeds while the roof is down. The rear screen is likewise movable.

The primary instrument cluster is a huge, curved 16-inch digital display that shows important vehicle data in a format that can be customised, including speed, RPM, and navigation.
