The Mercedes-Benz AMG EQS, launched in August 2022, ushered in a new era of luxury sedans. It is one of the carmaker's first models built specifically on the platform curated for electric vehicles. • Seat: The comfort seats have lumbar support with comfort head restraints in the front. It gets multi-contour ventilated front seats with a memory package for peak comfort. The rear back seats with a 40/20/40 folding ratio turn the sedan into a minivan in seconds.

• Seating Capacity: The Mercedes-Benz AMG EQS can accommodate five people. 

• Displays: It houses multiple screens under a 56-inch high-tech glass called the MBUX Hyperscreen. The car has a 12.3-inch OLED display for the front passengers. There are also 11.6-inch rear displays and a 7-inch MBUX rear tablet.

• Audio: The aural experience is enhanced by a 15-speaker Burmester 3D Sound system.

• Connectivity: The MBUX Hyperscreen uses artificial intelligence and offers smartphone integration through Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and hard disk navigation. The Mercedes Me Connect is the connected car technology.

• Battery: The Mercedes-Benz AMG EQS comes with a 107.8 kWh Lithium-ion battery. 

• Transmission: The AMG EQS comes with a 1-speed automatic transmission. 

• Charging: It has a charging cable, called a Mode 3 cable, that enables the AMG EQS's battery to be charged through the wall box or at public charging stations at up to 11 kW. The EQS can be charged from 10% to 100% within 6.25 hours. It has an 11 kW charging capacity. A 200 kW DC-fast charger can charge from 10% to 80% in 30 minutes.

• Range: The Mercedes-Benz EQS 53 4MATIC+ offers a range of 526km to 580 km on a full charge. The EQS 580 4MATIC has a range of 586 km to 693 km. The ARAI MIDC range is 857 km.

• Safety Features: The major safety features include nine airbags, Adaptive Highbeam Assist, Active Steering Assist, Active Lane Keeping Assist, Active Parking Assist with Parktronic, a 360° camera, a tyre pressure monitoring system, an Acoustic Vehicle Alert System, a Pedestrian protection system, and a PRE-SAFE system.

• Ground Clearance: The Mercedes-Benz AMG EQS has a ground clearance of 110 mm, which is suitable for smoother roads.
