British automotive brand MINI has launched the latest iteration of the Cooper, the MINI Cooper S, for the Indian car market. It is a four-seater hatchback that merges peppy aesthetics with a distinct timeless charm. The subtle minimalism is evident in the exterior design language, highlighted by the front octagonal grille, round LED headlamps and short overhangs. It comes with a choice of 16-inch to 18-inch alloy wheels. The rear lights have a triangular design for added charm. The panoramic sunroof looks stylish and offers ample light. 

The interiors carry forward the minimalist theme and reflect the brand's dedication to sustainability in the upholstery and dashboard materials. The driver's seat has a massage function, and the front seats are electronically adjustable. Feature-wise, the MINI Cooper S boasts a 9.4-inch OLED touchscreen, a heads-up display, a Harman Kardon sound system, ambient lighting, auto climate control, and connected car technology. 

The MINI Cooper S comes with a 2.0-litre turbo-petrol engine. It has a 7-speed DCT transmission. The mileage offered is 17 km/l. 

In terms of safety, the MINI Cooper comes with both standard and Level 1 ADAS features. The main amenities include six airbags, ABS with EBD, ISOFIX child seat mounts, a Tyre Pressure Monitoring System, an Electronic Parking Brake, and Dynamic Stability Control.

The MINI Operating System 9 enhances the user experience by integrating the voice-activated MINI Intelligent Personal Assistant. It has the driver assistance controls on the left and all the entertainment, personal assistant toolbar and communication functions on the right.

The MINI Cooper is equipped with robust safety features designed to provide maximum protection for its occupants. It has an Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) paired with Brake Assist and Electronic Brakeforce Distribution (EBD), ensuring optimal braking performance and stability under various driving conditions. The Traction Control and Electronic Stability Control (ESC) systems enhance vehicle control, particularly in adverse weather or challenging road surfaces.

Central locking and speed-sensing auto door locks, while the anti-theft alarm provides secure entry and exit.
