About Jeep

The World War II "Jeep" that entered production in 1941 specifically connected the name to this light military 4x4, making them perhaps the oldest four-wheel drive mass-production vehicles today known as SUVs. Several corporations have controlled the Jeep brand, including Willys-Overland Motors, Kaiser Jeep, and American Motors Corporation (AMC).
