Around 55 per cent of the bookings received for the 2023 Kia Seltos are attributed to the higher-end HTX and onward trims.
Kia India announced that the new Kia Seltos has achieved an impressive feat by garnering 31,716 bookings within a single month. The much-anticipated SUV, Kia Seltos, initiated its pre-bookings on July 14, 2023, at a starting price of Rs. 10.89 lakh to Rs. 19.99 lakh (ex-showroom). This model holds significant importance for Kia's presence in India, having already sold over 500,000 units since its debut in 2019.
A noteworthy aspect is that around 55 per cent of these bookings are attributed to the higher-end trims (HTX onwards), reflecting a modern consumer inclination towards premium features and enhanced driving experiences. Adding to its allure, the 2023 Seltos debuted in an India-exclusive colour named Pewter Olive, which has resonated remarkably with customers, representing nearly 19 per cent of the overall bookings received so far.
Reports also suggest that the 2023 Kia Seltos is currently facing a maximum waiting period of three months for the top-tier GTX+ and X-Line variants. In parallel, the mid-level HTX and HTX+ variants are witnessing a two-month waiting period, while the entry-level options are readily available. Interestingly, waiting periods remain consistent irrespective of the chosen powertrain. However, the popular Pewter Olive and Black colour selections entail a three-month waiting period, while the White and Silver alternatives are readily procurable.
