Kia India has finally taken the bold step and announced the arrival of the much-anticipated facelifted version of the Kia Seltos, with the India debut tentatively set for July 4, 2023. The 2023 Kia Seltos, made its global debut last year, and it was speculated that the South Korean giant would unveil it at the Auto Expo 2023, earlier this year. However, the 2023 Kia Seltos was recently spotted on Indian roads without any camouflage, revealing most of the exterior changes on the compact SUV.
The exterior of the 2023 Kia Seltos will receive a substantial upgrade, the majority of which will be front-focused. You get a fresh front grille and some snazzy new headlights. But the real star of the show is the rear end, where the 2023 Seltos receives a fancy set of taillights connected by an LED lightbar that even houses the Kia badge. The tailgate has also been given a facelift, so it's looking slick and ready to impress.
And when you step inside, get ready for a tech extravaganza. You'll be greeted by not one, but two 10.25-inch screens—one for all your infotainment needs and another for your instrument cluster. And if that's not enough, brace yourself for a panoramic sunroof that'll let the sunshine in and make every drive feel like a joyride.
The 2023 Kia Seltos facelift is getting some new engines—a 1.5-litre petrol and a 1.5-litre diesel—that meet the new RDE norms. They're bringing the heat while staying green. But that's not all. Kia is shaking things up on the transmission front too, with the iMT and DCT options coming standard with the GDi and CRDi engine choices.
