Both the 2023 GLE and the new AMG C 43 4Matic are slated to be launched on November 2, 2023.
Mercedes-Benz India will expand its product portfolio in the country with two launches, first the facelifted GLE, and the second is the new AMG C 43 4Matic, both slated to be launched on November 2, 2023. Introduced globally earlier this year, the Mercedes-Benz GLE is one of the best-sellers from the company, and with the refreshed model, expect several cosmetic tweaks to the exterior and the interior. On the other hand, the AMG C 43 proved to be highly successful in its previous iteration.
Mercedes-Benz has updated the exterior, interior, and equipment of the 2023 GLE, adding several changes to the exterior to give it a distinctly more modern appearance. The new front bumper, chrome inserts on the grille, light flare in the headlamps with the optional Multibeam LED, and a revised light sign on the tail lamps are a few of the exterior changes on the 2023 GLE. On the inside, the updated SUV features the latest-generation steering wheel with sensor surfaces, chrome treatment to the air vents, and new themes: Catalana Beige/Black and Bahia Brown/Black. The 12.3-inch displays have been retained.
Globally, the 2023 Mercedes-Benz GLE is offered in petrol (450 4MATIC) and two diesel options- (300 d 4MATIC and 450 d 4MATIC). While the petrol version is powered by a 3.0-litre, turbo unit that develops 375 bhp and 500 Nm of peak torque with a 20 bhp added boost from the mild-hybrid battery, Then there’s a 2.0-litre diesel and a larger 3.0-litre unit that develops 266 bhp/500 Nm and 362 bhp/750 Nm, respectively.
The Mercedes-AMG C 43 4Matic boasts a 1,991 cc inline four-cylinder petrol engine equipped with electronic turbocharging, generating 402 bhp at 6,750 rpm and 500 Nm of torque at 5,000 rpm. This powerplant is paired with a 9-speed AMG Speedshift automatic transmission and utilises a rear-biased AMG all-wheel-drive system. Consequently, the AMG C43 sedan accelerates from 0 to 100 kmph in a swift 4.6 seconds and is electronically limited to a top speed of 250 kmph.
