2023 Toyota Vellfire Launched In India

Toyota India has launched its latest addition to the Indian market, the new Vellfire MPV, in two grades: Hi Grade' and the top-tier 'VIP Grade with Executive Lounge,' at Rs. 1.20 crore and Rs. 1.30 crore (ex-showroom), respectively. Unveiled globally in June this year, the new Toyota Vellfire is the sibling to the second-generation Lexus LM350h MPV and raises the bar on luxury and tech. Based on Toyota’s TNGA-K modular platform, the new Vellfire is lighter than before but retains its proportions and boxy styling from the outgoing model.

Under the hood, the Toyota Vellfire is equipped with a strong hybrid electric vehicle and a 2.5-litre inline four-cylinder DOHC engine, generating 190 bhp @ 6000 rpm and a peak torque of 240 Nm @ 4300–4500 rpm. The hybrid system's fuel efficiency stands at 19.28 kmpl.

Safety is a paramount concern for Toyota, and the new Vellfire comes equipped with Level-2 ADAS with comprehensive protection gear such as Pre-Collision Safety, Adaptive Cruise Control, Lane Trace Assist, Adaptive High Beam LED Headlamps, and Blind Spot Monitor. Moreover, the company is also offering over 60 connected features, including remote door lock/unlock, air conditioning control, emergency services, vehicle diagnostics, and driver monitoring alerts.
