For 2024, the Pulsar workhorse gets new graphics and the updated console from the N150
After updating the Pulsar N150, N160, and the Pulsar NS range, Bajaj is slated to update its flagship Pulsar N250 as well. But along the sidelines, the brand silently updated its staple Pulsar – the Pulsar 150 – and the new model was recently spotted at a showroom in Kanpur.
From the offset, the Pulsar 150 looks the same (as it has over the years) with the same body panels and headlight design. However, its aesthetic appeal has been tried to keep fresh thanks to a new graphics scheme. Spotted in a red and black colour combination, the new carbon fibre-esque graphic design starts from the tank section, with a large ‘150’ moniker sprawled across the tank. The side panels covering the airbox and tool section are painted in black, while the sharp and sleek tail section keeps matters subtle with the same ‘150’ sticker with the new red graphics.
But the main update has to be the new fully digital instrument cluster the Bajaj Pulsar 150 gains. This is the same unit that Bajaj introduced with the Pulsar N150 and N160 earlier this year. The introduction of this new display unit also debuts Bluetooth connectivity features like accept/ reject calls, music playback functionalities, and a C-type charging port located neatly slotted inside the headlight cowl with the Pulsar 150.
Hardware components have remained the same though, and the single downtube frame of the bike continues to be suspended by a telescopic fork and dual-shock absorber. The Pulsar 150 is available with dual-disc and single-disc variants. The former will get you a 280 mm single disc at the front along with a rear disc brake, the latter gets a smaller 260 mm front single disc and rear drum brake. Mechanically, it is powered by the same air-cooled, single-cylinder, 149.5 cc engine that produces 13.8 bhp and 13.25 Nm and is paired to a 5-speed gearbox.
With these new updates, the ex-showroom price of the Bajaj Pulsar 150 has increased as well. The new Bajaj Pulsar 150 dual disc variant now costs ₹1,17,965 (ex-showroom) up from ₹1,15,418 (ex-showroom). While the single-disc variant will now set you back by ₹1,13,910 (ex-showroom), up from ₹1,10,419.
