2024 Jeep Wrangler Launched In India At ₹ 67.65 Lakh

The deliveries for the 2024 Jeep Wrangler will commence from mid-May 2024.

Jeep India has refreshed its Wrangler 4x4 SUV in the country at a starting price of ₹ 67.65 lakh for the Wrangler Unlimited and ₹ 71.65 lakh (both prices ex-showroom, India) for the Wrangler Rubicon. To give perspective, the outgoing Jeep Wrangler was priced at ₹ 62.65 lakh (Unlimited) and ₹ 66.65 lakh (Rubicon) resulting in a price increase of ₹ 5 lakh for both versions. The deliveries for the 2024 Jeep Wrangler will commence from mid-May 2024.

In its 2024 avatar, the Jeep Wrangler builds on its off-road credibility while improving upon its ability as a daily commuter. Starting with the design, the 2024 Wrangler builds on its iconic design cues with updated elements, including a seven-slot grille, which wears an updated look with black textured slots, neutral grey metallic bezels, and body-colour surround while the Unlimited trim receives this in platinum silver slots and bezels. Jeep is offering the 2024 Wrangler in 5 exterior paint schemes- Red, White, Black, Green and Grey.

Inside, the Wrangler's interior boasts premium features and technology. The centre stack is inspired by a sleek and sculpted form that complements the horizontal layout of the dashboard. Soft-touch surfaces, available in fabric or polyurethane with contrast accent stitching, adorn the wrapped instrument panel, while new AMPS bracket provisions sit atop the dash. A 12.3-inch infotainment system comes with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay now, along with TomTom navigation coupled with voice assistant.

The 2024 Wrangler Unlimited and Rubicon models feature a 2.0-litre turbocharged inline four-cylinder petrol engine, developing 266 bhp and 400 Nm of torque, paired with a standard 8-speed automatic transmission and engine stop-start (ESS) functionality. The refreshed Wrangler retains the five-link coil suspension setup, with tuned shocks, and an electronic front sway-bar disconnect for conquering challenging landscapes.

The 2024 Wrangler is built on a robust body-on-frame design allowing it to be for both on and off the road. The Wrangler is equipped with four skid plates, and high-strength aluminium closures, including doors, hinges, hood, fender flares, windshield frame, and magnesium swing gate.

Safety is paramount and the 2024 Jeep Wrangler boasts more than 85 advanced safety and security features. Standard across all models for the 2024 model year are first- and second-row side curtain airbags, complementing the standard driver and passenger front airbags, as well as front seat-mounted driver and passenger side airbags.

It also receives second-row outboard seatbelts equipped with pretensioners and load limiters, alongside structural enhancements to bolster side-impact performance. The standard ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) includes forward collision warning with advanced brake assist, auto high beam headlamps and adaptive cruise control with stop-and-go functionality.
