A closer look at the new colour options and what's been phased out
Royal Enfield has unveiled the 2024 Classic 350 with several updates and a refreshed colour palette. In our previous Top 5 Highlights article, we provided a brief overview of the colours. Now, let's take a closer look at the 7 colours available and which ones have been discontinued.
This is the top-of-the-line colour in the 2024 Classic 350 lineup under the Heritage premium range. It will replace the Chrome Red which was the previous top-of-the-line colour. The chrome finish is a bit darker on this like the 120th anniversary edition of the Continental GT. The green can be seen in the centre oval airbox cover, on top of the tank and the headstock. It indeed looks royal and has a mystic appeal to it.
The Medallion Brown colour is expected to replace Chrome Bronze, receiving a similar treatment to Emerald Contrast Chrome. Instead of the chrome the Medallion Brown features a biege colour finish and comes with all the upgrades, including adjustable levers, LED headlights, tail lights, and indicators. Additionally, it gets Tripper navigation as standard. The gear position indicator has also been updated to the digital display on the instrument cluster, which is now standard across all variants.
The Jodhpur Blue and Madras Red colours are expected to form the base model of the new Classic 350, replacing the Redditch Grey and Red. Both these colours come in Heritage variants. However, the presence of a 3D emblem suggests otherwise. These colours also fill the position previously held by the Halcyon Black and Green, which offered a choice of ABS variants. The Jodhpur Blue and Madras Red colours feature a glossy finish of the same colour throughout, paired with a beige-coloured seat. They have a flashy and offbeat appeal but notably do not come with adjustable levers or LED turn indicators.
The signals version has now been replaced by one single variant called Commando Sand. It gets a slight camo print in certain areas and looks a bit more modern. The badge has been carried over and it gets the serial number on the tank as seen on the previous signals model. Also, the battery cover Classic 350 badging on the battery cover area is slightly different on this variant.
The Dark Stealth Black and Gunmetal Grey colours will continue to be offered as alloy wheel variants of the 2024 Classic 350, with some notable upgrades. These variants will now feature adjustable levers for a customisable fit, all-LED lighting and a gear position indicator on the instrument console.
The old Royal Enfield Classic 350 had 11 versions with 9 colour options. Some had dual-channel ABS, and others being single-channel ABS. Royal Enfield has now simplified the range. The brand has discontinued single-channel ABS and reduced colours to seven shades and five variants. Dark series contains Stealth Black and Gun Grey and they remain with alloy wheels.
