Two updates enhance the riding experience, while one improves the spec sheet appeal
Royal Enfield Classic 350 is being updated and 3 interesting bits are to be seen on it. The 2024 Classic 350 will be launched on August 12. The bike currently stars at a price tag of 1.93 lakh (ex-showroom) and this update should have some effect on the price too.
The Royal Enfield Classic 350's halogen lighting has been a nostalgic charm for some, but a deal-breaker for others against the LED offered by competitors. The upcoming update will swap halogen for all LED lighting, enhancing the bike's appeal. While the classic look is retained, the LED upgrade will steal some show. the test when we get our first look at the bike. Notably, all variants will now come standard with LED pilot lamps, headlight, and tail lamp, while the Dark and Chrome variants will also feature LED indicators - an optional accessory on other variants.
Royal Enfield Classic 350 currently features non-adjustable brake levers, but the upcoming update will introduce adjustable levers with reach adjustment settings, providing a more customisable riding experience. This upgrade will be standard on the Classic 350 Dark and Chrome variants. The current clutch action is slightly on the heavier side and the reach can feel long for riders with shorter hands, so this update is a welcome improvement that will make the motorcycle more comfortable to live with.
The instrument cluster currently on the RE Classic 350 does not feature a gear position indicator. This has been an ask since there was an update to the J-Platform. Now it will be standard on all variants. Other changes are also expected on the instrument cluster but those could be just limited to cosmetic ones
