The Triumph Speed 400 has also gained a bunch of new colour options, and its rider comforts have been enhanced.
Ahead of the festive season, Triumph India has renewed the Speed 400. Priced from ₹2.40 lakh (ex-showroom, India), its asking price has also increased by ₹6,000 (up from ₹2.34 lakh). Consequently, the roadster has received several upgrades.
For starters, the bike has gained four new colours: Racing Yellow, Phantom Black, Pearl Metallic White, and Racing Red, thus making it more appealing than before. The brake and clutch levers are span-adjustable, and the quilted seat has also been updated with 10 mm thicker foam.
Mechanically, it continues to be powered by the same 398.15 cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled mill with the same 39.5 bhp and 37.5 Nm, paired to a 6-speed gearbox with a slip-and-assist clutch and ride-by-wire throttle control. Similarly, the feature list has also remained the same, and the 2024 Triumph Speed 400 will continue with the same semi-digital instrument cluster, full-LED lighting, and dual-channel ABS as standard.

The only hardware update on the Speed 400 remains the tyres. Gone are the Apollo Alpha H1s and the MRF Steel Brace, and in their place arrive gripper Vredstein Centauro ST rubber.
Bookings for the new Triumph Speed 400 have already commenced across all Triumph dealerships in India. And deliveries for the same will commence from this month onwards. As for its competition, the new 2024 Triumph Speed 400 will continue to rival the likes of the Harley-Davidson X440, Royal Enfield Classic 350, and Jawa 42 FJ.
