Yezdi seems to be working on customer feedback to refine its adventure touring offering.
The recent spy shots of the updated Yezdi Adventure are a welcome sight for fans who have been eagerly awaiting its arrival. These images offer a glimpse into the technical tweaks that Yezdi has planned for its popular adventure motorcycle.
The overall design of the Yezdi Adventure remains largely unchanged. The most noticeable change is the rerouted exhaust system. This suggests potential improvements in heat management, an issue some riders have faced with the current model. The rerouting of the exhaust might also give the Yezdi Adventure a slightly different exhaust note, though it's difficult to predict exactly how it will sound without hearing it in person. Additionally, the absence of tank braces on the test vehicle hints at a possible weight reduction, which could enhance agility.
The engine is also expected to receive some attention. While power figures are likely to remain around 30 bhp and 30 Nm, refinements for better performance and possibly an increase in mid-range power are anticipated. This could make the Yezdi Adventure feel less stressed on long highway stretches. The current 6-speed gearbox is expected to be carried over, but there could be revisions for smoother gear shifts.
The test vehicle sported a new swingarm design. This could be a lighter one and potentially improve handling dynamics. Likewise, the suspension setup might also be tweaked for better ride quality and off-road capability. The rider ergonomics are expected to be carried over, with the comfortable upright riding position. The seat height is likely to remain unchanged at 815 mm as well.
The launch is expected around the festive season in India. There will be a slight price increase compared to the current model starting at ₹ 2.15 lakh (ex-showroom). This updated Yezdi Adventure will take on rivals like the Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 and KTM 390 Adventure in the competitive 300-450cc ADV segment.
