While the bike continues to look the same as before, there are a few nifty changes here and there.
Bajaj Auto has finally taken the wraps off the new 2025 Pulsar RS200. The latest iteration of the brand’s only fully faired Pulsar has undergone a few subtle changes that not only help it look different but also bring it on par with some of its competition.
For starters, while the fairing design has remained largely unchanged, it now houses two LED projector lamps. The tail section has also been revised, and gone are those quad-shaped styled LED tail lights. Instead comes two distinct D-shaped turn indicators with the brake light integrated into it, and flanking the number plate. These two changes to the body are now complemented by three new colour options – Active Black Satin, Glossy Racing Red, and Pearl Metallic White. With new colour options, come new graphic details. And while the latest style does help keep the Pulsar RS200 look fresh, that unmistakable sense of aggressiveness continues untampered here.
To make the overall package more lucrative, Bajaj has also made a few nifty technological upgrades. Besides the fact there’s a new slot for a USB charger on board, Bajaj has also introduced the fully digital LCD cluster from the Pulsar NS200 to the RS here. This console comes with Bluetooth connectivity. While the connective features on offer here are still undisclosed, we reckon it’ll include turn-by-turn navigation, call/SMS and notification alerts.
Mechanically, the 24.1 bhp-strong 199.5 cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine continues to produce the same 18.7 Nm of peak torque. However, the 5-speed gearbox gets a small upgrade with a new assist and slipper clutch, to make upshifts and downshifts smoother.
Bajaj has not changed any of the hardware components of the bike, even the telescopic fork has been left untouched. This is quite a disappointment given its naked sport brethren, the Pulsar NS200 now gets USD fork. Either way, the Bajaj Pulsar RS200 is still essentially the same bike, as it was before.
All of these updates have taken a toll on its asking price and at ₹1.84 lakh, the new 2025 Bajaj Pulsar RS200 has become expensive by ₹10,000. Bookings have already commenced across all Bajaj showrooms in the country, and deliveries should begin soon.
