The updated Ducati Panigale V2 and V2 S arrive in India with a refreshed design and reduced weight.
Ducati India has introduced the 2025 Panigale V2 range. Billed as the lightest Panigale ever, this reimagined model blends track-honed performance with road-friendly usability. The standard V2 is a two-seater with a dry weight of 179 kg, while the V2 S is a single-seater weighing 175 kg.
The new Panigale V2 is powered by an all-new 890 cc, 90-degree V-twin engine, which is the lightest twin-cylinder engine ever produced by Ducati, weighing just 54.4 kg. This engine delivers 120 bhp at 10,750 rpm and 93.3 Nm of torque at 8,250 rpm.
Inspired by the flagship Panigale V4, the 2025 Panigale V2 features a fresh design with aerodynamic surfaces, a full-LED headlight, and a monolithic rear section with under-seat exhausts.
The bike is built on a lightweight monocoque chassis, using the engine as a stressed member for improved stability and handling. The V2 S variant is equipped with premium Ohlins suspension and Brembo M50 monobloc calipers, while the standard V2 gets Marzocchi and Kayaba components.
Both models come with Ducati’s latest electronic rider aids, including a six-axis IMU, Cornering ABS, Traction Control, Wheelie Control, Engine Brake Control, and Ducati Quick Shift 2.0.
Riders can choose from four riding modes: Race, Sport, Road, and Wet. A new 5-inch full-TFT dashboard provides access to all settings and performance data.
The Panigale V2 is priced at ₹19,11,900 (ex-showroom), while the sportier Panigale V2 S variant will retail at ₹21,09,900 (both ex-showroom India). Interestingly, both variants comply with India’s E20 fuel standards.
