Deliveries in the international market for the new Tiger Sport 660 will begin from January 2025 onwards.
Triumph has updated the Tiger Sport 660 for 2025. While the bike has essentially remained the same, many new rider assist and connectivity features have been added to the mix to make it more intuitive and safer. But first, new colour options help distinguish it from previous models. Starting with a new base option called Sapphire Black, along with Roulette Green, Carnival Red, and Crystal White.
Mechanically, the liquid-cooled, inline-three-cylinder engine continues to produce the same 81 bhp at 10,250 rpm and 64 Nm at 6,250 rpm. It is paired with a 6-speed gearbox as usual; however, for 2025, the gearbox will come with a bidirectional quick-shifter as standard instead of an optional accessory.
Beyond that, the ABS and traction control have also been updated to include lean-sensitive functionality. Lastly, while the LCD/ TFT display has remained the same, it now features the "My Triumph Connectivity module" as standard, which will further provide turn-by-turn navigation, call/SMS alerts, and music control.
Besides the above, the Triumph Tiger Sport 660 has remained unchanged as it was launched in 2022. Suspension components are the same 41 mm USD fork and a monoshock RSU, sourced from Showa. At the same time, dual-310 mm disc brakes and a single 255 mm disc brake with Nissin-sourced calipers take care of braking duties. Triumph says the seat has been slightly revised to better accommodate long-distance tours. However, the massive 17.2-litre tank has yet to be tinkered with, and Triumph will continue to offer its 16,000 km/12-month interval for service from before as well.
The Triumph Tiger Sport 660 is one of the easiest ways to get into the marque's famed tripled-cylinder family. It might get a 240-degree even firing order instead of Triumph's most renowned 180-270-270 degree order of the T-plane crank used on larger Tigers. Either way, it's quite the capable tourer and one of the most affordable. Deliveries for the new 2025 Tiger Sport 660 will start next year from January onwards in international markets and will come to our shores in the first half of 2025.
