Triumph has standardised a bunch of optional features from before on the Trident 660.

The 2025 iteration of the Triumph Trident 660 has undergone its first mid-life update and the same has finally arrived on our shores priced at ₹8.49 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). This makes it ₹24,000 more expensive than the outgoing model, but the new refreshed Trident 660 gets a bunch of features as standard now, which were earlier available as standard.

The 2025 Triumph Trident 660 continues to be powered by the same 660 cc inline-three engine delivering 81 bhp and 64 Nm. It continues to be paired to the same 6-speed gearbox, but with a bidirectional quickshifter as standard now. But, the most significant enhancement is the introduction of a six-axis IMU unit which in turn has enabled cornering ABS, lean-angle traction control, and even cruise control as standard features. Triumph has also expanded the bike's ride modes by adding a Sport setting to the existing Road and Rain options, giving riders more performance flexibility.

Handling improvements come through a new 43 mm Showa SFF-BP fork, mounted to a redesigned forged aluminium triple clamp. The chassis geometry has been refined further with a 6 mm reduction in wheelbase and a rake angle has been sharpened from 23.9 to 24.6 degrees. The handlebars are now 5mm wider to improve control during city riding. Despite these upgrades, the weight penalty is minimal at just 1 kg, taking the wet weight to 190 kg. The approachable 805 mm seat height remains unchanged, ensuring the Trident continues appealing to riders transitioning to larger motorcycles.

Bluetooth connectivity has also been standardised, allowing riders to access turn-by-turn navigation and smartphone alerts, though tyre pressure monitoring and USB-C charging remain optional additions.

Further distinguishing itself from models before are three new shades: Cosmic Yellow, Cobalt Blue, and Diablo Red. The Jet Black colour shade has been carried forward and it’s priced at ₹8.49 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi), while the rest are priced at ₹8.64 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). In this price range it will compete against the likes of the Honda CB650R and the Kawasaki Z650.
