Besides giving it the mandatory OBD-2B updates, TVS has also upped the bike’s safety quotient.
The TVS Apache RTR 160 2V has been updated for 2025 with a couple of new additions. The starting price of the Apache RTR 160 has increased by ₹7,000 from before with the bike now priced at ₹1.32 lakh onwards (ex-showroom, Delhi).
There are two revisions made to the 160 cc sporty commuter motorcycle. Firstly, the bike is now compliant with the latest OBD-2B emission norms. And secondly, all TVS Apache RTR 160 variants will be available with dual-channel ABS as standard. This makes all variants safer than before, wherein all were available with single-channel ABS before.
Despite complying with the latest emission norms, the 159.7 cc, single-cylinder engine remains unchanged, producing the same 15.82 bhp and 13.85 Nm. Similarly, the bike continues to boast three ride modes as well – Rain, Urban, and Sport. Which can be toggled from the same Bluetooth-compatible fully digital instrument console, which has the same plethora of connectivity features on offer as before.
To help distinguish the new 2025 Apache RTR 160 2V from earlier iterations, TVS has revised the bike’s aesthetic with two new colour options – Matte Black and Pearl White. Plus, the alloy wheels are now red too, replacing the black colour from before.
