The refreshed model is already on sale in global markets.
Volvo has officially confirmed that the 2025 XC60 facelift will launch in India on August 1, bringing upgrades to its highest selling luxury SUV. The refreshed model is already on sale in global markets.
The highlight of the 2025 XC60 is its new 11.2-inch free-standing touchscreen, offering 21% higher pixel density for crisper visuals. Volvo claims the system’s processing power is over twice as fast, with a redesigned, more intuitive interface. Built-in Google services—including Google Maps, Assistant, and Play Store—remain a key feature, ensuring seamless connectivity.
The facelift retains the XC60’s elegant design but introduces minor updates:
• Refreshed front air intake
• Updated iron mark logo
• New alloy wheel designs
• Darker rear taillights, inspired by the latest XC90
No major mechanical changes are anticipated. The petrol mild-hybrid (B5/B6) will likely continue, while the diesel variant may be phased out. Final specifications and variant-wise pricing will be announced closer to the launch.
Since its 2008 debut, the XC60 has sold over 2.7 million units worldwide, making it Volvo’s best-selling car, surpassing even the Volvo 240. It also plays a key role in Volvo’s electrification strategy, being one of Europe’s top plug-in hybrid SUVs. In India, it competes with the Mercedes-Benz GLC, BMW X3, and Audi Q5.
With bookings expected to open soon, buyers can look forward to enhanced tech, premium cabin refinements, and Volvo’s signature safety features. Stay tuned for official pricing and test drive updates in the coming weeks.
