The Honda Elevate has been making significant inroads in the Indian automobile market, and recent sales data shed light on evolving consumer preferences. The compact SUV has been particularly well-received by buyers seeking advanced technology and convenience. According to the company, one key insight from Elevate’s sales performance is the dominance of the top-grade ZX variant, which accounts for 53 per cent of total sales. The ZX trim comes equipped with Honda Sensing, the brand’s Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS) technology.
Another notable trend is the preference for Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT) models, which constitute 79 per cent of Elevate sales. The CVT option is available in three variants—V, VX, and ZX—and has resonated well with buyers looking for a smoother driving experience and urban-friendly convenience. The data also highlights a shift in buyer demographics, with 22 per cent of Elevate customers being first-time car buyers. Additionally, more than 43 per cent of Elevate buyers have purchased the SUV as an additional car in their household, indicating that consumers are increasingly investing in multi-vehicle ownership for varied mobility needs.
