The Samarth by Hyundai film about increasing accessibility for all was heartwarming.

Hyundai won hearts with its ‘Samarth by Hyundai - Join Us In Creating An Accessible Future For All’ creative film and won the 2024 Acko Drive Awards' Best Creative Film (Car). 

The creative film submitted by Hyundai shows how the marque is trying to make a difference in the lives of persons with disabilities by making things more accessible for them. A good example shown in the video includes a rotatable front passenger seat that makes it easier for people in wheelchairs. The video also shows how Hyundai’s in-car technology like ADAS and BlueLink are working to make things simpler and safer for passengers and pedestrians.

The TOTMs is a unique award in the automobile industry as it is the only one to have categories dedicated to communications and marketing campaigns by OEMs. The Best Creative Film category required OEMs to show a new ad film created or released in the previous year and was purely an advertising campaign, not marketing communication or corporate film. This category saw around 20 entries in the preliminary rounds, seven of which were shortlisted for the final round. 

The runner up in this category include Tata Motor’s ‘Your Happy Place’ advertisement for the Sierra.ev where actors shared their moments of happiness.
