Apple is gearing up for its next big product launch event on October 30th, dubbed "Scary Fast." The company is expected to unveil several new Mac models featuring its latest M3 chips and showcase its gaming capabilities.

The event invite features an animation transforming the Apple logo into a Finder icon, potentially hinting at new Macs. Rumours suggest we may see a new 24-inch iMac, 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pros with the more powerful M3 Pro and M3 Max chips. These new 3nm processors promise even faster performance and advanced graphics capabilities like ray tracing.

To demonstrate this, Apple released Resident Evil Village with ray tracing support on Mac and iPhone 15. It could signify a bigger gaming push, as the M3 chip's ray-tracing graphics were previously only found in gaming PCs and consoles such as PS5 and Xbox. Apple also recently introduced new gaming-focused features in macOS, like the Game Mode.

The new M3 processor is expected to be a significant upgrade, moving to a cutting-edge 3nm manufacturing process. It should allow efficiency gains to push processing and graphics capabilities even further.

While iPads are usually updated in October, rumours suggest we may need to wait until 2023 for the next generation. However, Apple could announce new USB-C versions of accessories like the Magic Keyboard to align with recent iPhone changes.

The "Scary Fast" event kicks off October 30th at 5 PM PT/8 PM ET and will be livestreamed on Apple.com and YouTube. We have embedded the YouTube livestream link below.
