Nissan Motor India announced wholesales of 3,249 units for the month of April 2023 while domestic wholesales stood at 2,617 units, and export wholesales stood at 632 units. Nissan recently announced YTD sales growth of 23 per cent for FY 2022–23, with YOY March growth of 8 per cent for domestic sales and now 24 per cent in April 2023, with the growth momentum continuing into the next fiscal year 2023–24.
Rakesh Srivastava, Managing Director, Nissan Motor India, said, “Our focus continues to be the domestic market while continuously expanding our global footprint of exports to more than 15 countries." Going forward, we see customer sentiment remaining positive on account of GDP growth and a normal monsoon, with industry projections of high single-digit growth for the FY2023–24 period."
Nissan recently increased its customer touchpoints in April with the addition of two showrooms and workshops in Karnal (Haryana) and Khammam (Telangana) in April 2023. With the addition of these new touchpoints, Nissan's network has now expanded to 267 touchpoints across the country.
