AR Rahman launched his Meta-Humans Project at the event

QX Lab AI has launched Ask QX, which is the first hybrid Gen AI platform operating on a node-based system. This platform supports over 100 languages, including more than 12 Indian languages. QX Lab AI, based in Dubai, was founded by individuals of Indian origin. The team consists of co-founders Tilkaraj Parmar (CEO), Arjun Prasad (chief strategy officer), and Tathagat Prakash (chief scientist). Ask QX is currently accessible on Android, and an iOS app for iPhone users is planned for future release.

"We are delighted to introduce Ask QX, the world's pioneering hybrid Gen AI platform featuring multilingual capabilities. This innovative platform is strategically designed to democratise access to AI for the Indian populace, seamlessly integrating artificial intelligence into their daily lives to enhance overall value. Conceived after eight years of dedicated effort and meticulous development, Ask QX boasts unparalleled language proficiency and accuracy across multiple Indian languages," said Tilakraj Parmar, the CEO and co-founder of QX Lab AI.

Its node-based architecture is notable because it is multimodal. Right now, it supports text and audio formats, but soon it will get image generation and video generation capabilities in Q1 of 2024. There is support for Hindi, Bengali, Telugu, Marathi, Tamil, Urdu, Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam, Odia, Punjabi, and Assamese. Other international languages supported are Arabic, French, Spanish, Japanese, German, Italian, Korean, Portuguese, Russian, and Sinhala.

The large language model is already available for native English users and has been neurologically trained in over 100 languages using a hybrid model, which means 30 percent of the training has been done using LLMs while the rest has been used leveraging a neural network, which helps in language comprehension while interacting with the user. The LLM has been trained on 372 billion parameters, which converts to 6 trillion tokens, meaning it significantly surpasses Krutrim by Ola.

Capabilities we have seen with LLMs like Bard, GPT-4, and Claude-2 are present—so text to image, text to code, text to video for B2C customers and B2B and for institutional customers in the healthcare, education, and legal spheres are already prevalent.

While the pricing of the new model has not been revealed, QX AI Labs reveal the variant for customers will be cheaper than rivals. There is already a free tier.

"Ask QX is the world's first Gen AI platform to access and leverage an astounding neural network architecture along with advanced security measures and stringent compliance protocols. The unique node-based infrastructure and data residence within India not only enhance security but also operate more cost-effectively, showcasing our commitment to offering subscription models tailored to different user segments," said Tathagat Prakash, Co-Founder & Chief Scientist, QX Lab AI.

Yotta Infrastructure Solutions is the data center partner that has orders for Nvidia's AI accelerators in the realm of a billion dollars. The Nvidia A and H series of AI accelerators have proven critical for the development and deployment of large language model-based generative AI models, which is something that QX Lab AI has sorted.

Notably, at its launch in Dubai, Grammy and Oscar award winner AR Rahman launched his meta-humans project, which is a global music band consisting of six virtual musicians representing cultures around the world. Rahman will provide content and creative direction to the band, whose members will be represented by synthetic avatars blending the real and virtual worlds together with visual effects and motion capture. This project is also being supported by Ask QX.
