Ather Energy reached this milestone in just a year after reaching its 100,000th milestone.
Taking to their social media account, Ather Energy confirmed today that they have rolled out their 200,000th vehicle from its Hosur facility in Tamil Nadu. The manufacturer managed to achieve this feat within just a year after achieving its 1 lakh sales milestone. The 200,000th unit was the Ather 450X, the brand’s flagship model at the moment.

and are ending this rather action packed year with 200k!
Lots of grit and focus demonstrated by an amazing Ather team and much gratitude to an incredible owner's community! https://t.co/mK6vJoTZP6
Ather was among the first brands to venture into the premium electric two-wheeler space and over the years it has expanded massively. The first step in expansion was courtesy of its new manufacturing facility in Hosur and also the huge inflow of cash from Hero MotoCorp helped the brand grow further. Over the years Ather scooters have stood the test of time and are renowned for their reliability, performance, and features. Ather Energy also has the largest charging station network for any EV two-wheeler brand in the country.
It should be noted here that Ather Energy’s Hosur facility has a production capacity of more than 1 lakh unit per annum. And as the marquee gears up for the launch of the Ather 450 Apex in January 2024, we can expect this capacity to increase as well. The marquee’s line-up currently includes the 450X and 450S. The upcoming 450 Apex will be the brand’s new flagship mode, so you can expect a bigger battery and more performance as well.
As for the 200,000th- 450X, Ather Energy had launched this scooter in 2020. The current Gen3 450X is available with two battery pack options - 3.7kWh and 2.9kWh. The former has a certified range of 150km, and with the smaller battery, the 450X has a certified range of 111km on a single charge. Ather Energy also retails the 450S, which is available with the 2.9kWh battery pack as the only option, however, its certified range is 115 km on a single charge.
The 450X with the bigger battery pack is priced at Rs 1.45 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi), and with the smaller battery, it costs Rs 1.38 Lakh. The 450S has a more affordable ex-showroom price (Delhi) of Rs 1.30 lakh. These prices are exclusive of the Pro package.
On the other hand, bookings for the upcoming Ather 450 Apex have already commenced, and interested customers can do so online for a token amount of Rs 2,500. Deliveries for the same will commence in March 2024. Ather is also working on a family electric scooter which will be making its India debut in 2024.
