Ather Enhances On-Board Navigation For Its Electric Scooters

Ather Energy has released a host of new features to its onboard navigation system that will be available through the Over-The-Air (OTA) update. These features will be rolled out in a phased manner and all Ather 450X electric scooters will be updated by the end of January 2024. 

The new features are aimed at making navigation “easier, quicker, and more seamless”. As part of the package, Ather Energy has revamped the live traffic indicators on the scooter’s dashboard. This feature will help keep riders up to date with real-time traffic conditions along their route. 

Moreover, the map will also show routes to riders that are specific to two-wheelers only. For this Ather Energy has partnered with Google Maps and this addition makes the Ather 450X the first and only electric scooter in the world to be available with so, and it is expected to enhance rider convenience. 

Lastly, for a seamless experience, Ather Energy has improved the GPS connectivity latching feature in its 450X scooters. This update ensures that the GPS is up and running and riders can instantly check their location when the scooter is powered on. 

The 7-inch TFT touchscreen instrument cluster was already a highlight on the Ather 450X scooter, and the latest update will surely up the ante of the whole visual experience.
