This new accessory will be revealed on April 6 at the Ather Community Day.

Ather is all set to launch the Rizta and reveal several new features and accessories on April 6 at its Ather Community Day. Ahead of this, the brand has been warming up to the occasion by releasing several teasers on its social media platform. The latest is that of a smart accessory with the moniker ‘HALO’. While we usually associate this word with safety, especially in F1, the notion of Halo and how it fits in the context of Ather’s electric scooters has garnered quite the buzz on the internet.

‘Halo’ might represent Ather’s upcoming series of helmets with Bluetooth connectivity. While there’s talk of proximity lock/unlock feature as well, we think it is more likely to allow the rider to change the various riding parameters of the scooter via voice commands. Either way, the fact that this is going to be a ‘smart accessory’ is something that the marque has already conveyed in the teaser caption.

On April 6, Ather will also introduce Atherstack 6, its most significant over-the-air update as of yet. The new update will bring forward several new features like “messaging on the dash” which is something that the marque has hinted at, and much more. Alongside the unveiling of the Ather Rizta, we can also expect to see an updated iteration of the existing Ather 450X with new features, with the possibility of the Halo also being integrated into the 450 ecosystem.
