At the forefront of this growth is the MG Windsor EV.
JSW MG Motor India has announced its retail sales figures for April 2025, recording a total of 5,829 units sold. This marks a 23 per cent year-over-year (YoY) growth compared to April 2024, when the company sold 4,725 units. At the forefront of this growth is the MG Windsor EV, which has now held the title of the best-selling EV in its segment for seven consecutive months. Since its launch, the Windsor has amassed a user base of over 20,000 customers.

This new version will reportedly come equipped with a larger 50.6 kWh battery pack, offering an estimated range of up to 400 km on a single charge. It will be capable of producing 128 bhp and 200 Nm of torque.

It boasts performance figures of 535 hp and 725 Nm of torque, with a 0-100 kmph acceleration time of just 3.2 seconds. The vehicle is reported to deliver an ARAI-certified range of approximately 442 km. It will be priced between ₹70-80 lakh (ex-showroom, India).
