Hyundai Motor India sold 58,702 units in December 2025, up 6.6% YoY from 55,078 units, driven by 26.5% export growth and good response for the new Venue.
Hyundai Motor India Limited (HMIL) has announced its sales performance for December 2025, registering total wholesales of 58,702 units. This marks a 6.6% year-on-year growth when compared to the 55,078 units dispatched in December 2024.
Domestic sales for the month reached 42,416 units, showing a marginal 0.5% increase over the 42,208 units in December 2024. Exports contributed significantly to the overall rise, with 16,286 units shipped, reflecting a robust 26.5% year-on-year growth from 12,870 units in the same month the previous year.
On the contrary, the company’s month-on-month sales performance was down by 13.86% as it managed to sell 66,840 units in November 2025.
The company highlighted that it concluded Calendar Year 2025 with optimised stock levels across its network, maintaining healthy inventory management to support dealer operations effectively.
Tarun Garg, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of HMIL, attributed the monthly performance to supportive factors including the GST 2.0 reforms, which have positively influenced market sentiment. He noted sustained customer interest in the product lineup, particularly the all-new Hyundai Venue.
Launched recently, the second-generation Venue has garnered over 55,000 bookings in less than two months.
While domestic volumes remained nearly flat year-on-year, the sharp rise in exports provided the primary impetus for the total growth. Going forward, Hyundai is expected to launch the facelifted version of its Verna sedan in the first half of 2026.
