The company exported 16,000 cars from the Indian market.
Hyundai Motor India registered a total sales of 66701 units in July this year. This is more compared to June 2023 as well. The company sold 65601 units in June 2023 and that means it has witnessed a marginal gain of 1.64%.
Tarun Garg, COO, Hyundai Motor India Ltd. said, “July 2023 marks a significant milestone in Hyundai Motor India’s journey in India. Our Domestic July Sales volume of 50,000 plus units is backed by a strong SUV portfolio.
While the company’s domestic sales crossed the 50,000 unit mark, it was the over 19% growth (year-on-year) in the export business that drove the sales. The company exported 16,000 cars from the Indian market.
With the launch of the Exter, the company expects sales to soar even more. The company is sure that it will manage to sell 20,000 units of the Exter per month soon and that will certainly bring it closer to the 1 lakh unit sales per month figure.
