Suzuki Motorcycle India has crossed the 100,000-unit milestone for the very first time.
Suzuki Motorcycle India Pvt. Ltd. (SMIPL), announced a notable achievement in its monthly sales. In July 2023, the company successfully sold a total of 107,836 units. This figure comprised 80,309 units sold within the domestic market and an additional 27,527 units exported to international markets. This performance reflects a year-on-year sales growth of about 41.5 per cent in comparison to the sales recorded in July 2022. This particular achievement marks a significant milestone for Suzuki Motorcycle India, as it's the first time they have attained monthly sales exceeding 100,000 units.
Kenichi Umeda, Managing Director, Suzuki Motorcycle India, said, “We are elated to have crossed the 100,000 monthly sales mark in July. It is a testament to our commitment to our customers and their continued trust in the brand. These strong sales numbers reflect robust demand for our scooters and motorcycles in India and in the overseas markets.”
In addition to the sales milestone, the company also celebrated the production of its 5 millionth Access 125 model, which was manufactured at the Kherki Dhaula plant in Gurugram, Haryana.
