Auto Sales June 2024: Kia India Registers 9.8 Per Cent Growth

Kia India registered a year-on-year growth of 9.8 per cent, recording 21,300 unit sales in June 2024. Compared to May 2024, Kia India’s sales grew by just 4 per cent. The Sonet was the brand’s best-selling model as Kia India sold 9,816 units. 

In the first half of 2024, Kia India recorded sales of more than 1.26 lakh units, which is a 6 per cent increase compared to the same period last year. The Sonet was the best-selling model in this period as well, contributing to 43 per cent of the total sales between January and June 2024. Following the Sonet were Seltos and Carens with 32 and 25 per cent share, respectively.

In June 2024, Kia India exported 3,206 units, registering a year-on-year growth of nearly 40 per cent. Between January and June 2024, Kia India’s exports tallied 12,026 units, a growth of 38 per cent compared to the same period last year. Since the brand started its operations in India, it has exported more than 2.5 lakh units from its plant in Anantapur, Karnataka.
