The sales volume for both SUVs and Pik-Ups were restricted by a short-term disruption
Mahindra and Mahindra has sold 32,883 SUVs in the Indian market in the month of May this year. This marks a year on-year growth of 23 per cent. The company also exported 1048 units last month and overall sales stood at 33,931 SUVs. Overall in the month of May, Mahindra sold 61,415 units, registering a year-on-year growth 14 per cent.
The domestic sales for Small Commercial Vehicles stood at 19,053 vehicles. The semiconductor supply constraints on specific parts like Air Bag ECU also continued in this month.
