The Windsor EV and the new Windsor Pro EV have helped grow MG’s sales.
JSW MG Motor India sold 6,304 units in India in May 2025, registering a growth of 40 per cent compared to May 2024, when it sold 4,510 units. The MG Windsor EV has been at the forefront of this growth, consistently being a top seller in the mass-market electric vehicle space.
Recently, MG Motor India launched the Pro version of the Windsor EV, which comes with a larger 52.9 kWh battery pack with a claimed range of 449 km. The Windsor EV Pro is available from ₹17.25 lakh and goes up to ₹18.10 lakh. Along with a bigger battery, it also gets ADAS.
MG Motor India is also gearing up to launch another EV in India, but it will be its most premium offering. The Cyberster will be the first electric sports car in India and will be sold through MG’s new Select dealerships, its premium range of dealerships. The Cyberster is likely to launch in India on June 25.
