MG Motor India has announced its domestic sales figures for November 2023, registering retail sales of 4,154 units, compared to 4000 units sold in November 2022, a growth of 3.85 per cent. The company also revealed that its EV sales account for around 30 per cent of the total vehicles sold this month, however, the company did not disclose the exact number of units sold in the country. The EV portfolio of the company includes the MG Comet and the MG ZS EV.
MG Motor India also announced its recent collaboration with Charge Zone has established a network of more than 12,000 chargers across India. In other news, the company recently announced a joint venture with Sajjan Jindal-led JSW Group, that allowed the Indian conglomerate to acquire a 35 per cent stake in the Indian operations.
The partnership will focus on enhancing local sourcing, improving charging infrastructure, expanding production capacity, and introducing a wider range of vehicles with a strong emphasis on green mobility.
