Motorcycle sales experienced a 23 per cent growth 2,01,965 units in October 2023.
In October 2023, TVS Motor reported significant increases in their motorcycle and scooter sales. Motorcycle sales grew by 23 per cent, reaching 2,01,965 units, up from 1,64,568 units in October 2022. Scooter sales also saw notable growth, with a 22 per cent increase to 1,65,135 units, compared to 1,35,190 units in October 2022. These figures reflect a positive performance in both motorcycle and scooter segments for TVS Motor.
Overall, in October 2023, TVS Motor Company achieved impressive sales figures, totaling 4,34,714 units. This represents a substantial 21 per cent growth compared to October 2022 when they sold 3,60,288 units.
The two-wheeler segment also witnessed growth in October 2023. Total two-wheeler sales increased by 22 per cent, with sales rising from 3,44,630 units in October 2022 to 4,20,610 units in October 2023.
The domestic two-wheeler market displayed a strong performance, showing a 25 per cent growth, with sales increasing from 2,75,934 units in October 2022 to 3,44,957 units in October 2023. Additionally, motorcycle sales grew by 23 per cent, moving from 1,64,568 units in October 2022 to 2,01,965 units in October 2023. Scooters registered a 22 per cent growth, with sales increasing from 1,35,190 units in October 2022 to 1,65,135 units in October 2023.
The sales of TVS iQube Electric in October 2023 reached 20,153 units, a significant increase compared to the 8,103 units sold in October 2022.
As for the International Business, the company experienced a 6 per cent growth in total exports, with sales rising from 82,816 units in October 2022 to 87,952 units in October 2023. Specifically, two-wheeler exports witnessed a remarkable 10 per cent growth, with sales increasing from 68,696 units in October 2022 to 75,653 units in October 2023.
However, the company's three-wheelers recorded sales of 14,104 units in October 2023, a decrease from the 15,658 units sold in October 2022.
