Meant to be a successor to the iconic Pulsar 220F, the Pulsar F250 didn’t quite garner as many takers
At the launch of the Pulsar N125, Bajaj officials had claimed that every single one of the 15 or so Pulsars had takers for them. Sadly, it seems the demand for the Pulsar F250 had fizzled out, leading to Bajaj cutting its losses and pulling the plug on the bike. Yes, the next-gen of the half-faired Pulsar couldn’t quite replicate what the Pulsar 220F could do, which surprisingly had to be brought back to life.
The tale of the F250 began in late-2021 when Bajaj launched its next-gen Pulsar family. The quarter-litre Pulsars were meant to spawn the new breed of Pulsarmaniacs but sadly, the hype fizzled out quite rapidly. Hence, the Pulsar 220F had to be called back into existence and it still remains a popular product.
Bajaj did try its best to spruce up the appeal of the 250s, which did work out for the N250 at least. The current iteration has quite a few neat modern touches with improved riding dynamics. The same luck didn’t carry over to the Pulsar F250 and as a result, production it seems has been stopped.
We contacted a couple of our dealer friends to get an update on the bike. While there were a few lingering stocks of the same left, new bookings for the F250 have not been taken for some time. We await to hear Bajaj’s official stance on the same but the removal of the bike from the company website should give a clear indication of the same.
Bajaj is gearing up for the launch of the updated Pulsar RS200. The only full-faired Pulsar to date has not seen any revisions in years and for 2025, it might receive a handful of feature updates. Stay tuned for more updates on the same.
