Bajaj Pulsar N150

The 150 cc N-series Pulsar has undergone quite a few iterations

While the newly launched Bajaj Pulsar NS400Z is grabbing headlines with its series of subtle yet impactful upgrades, Bajaj Auto has silently discontinued the Bajaj Pulsar N150 from the sidelines. This leaves the Pulsar ‘N’ family with just three models – Pulsar N125, Pulsar N160 and the Pulsar N250. The Bajaj Pulsar N150 slotted between the Pulsar N125 and N160, and it looked more or less similar to the latter.

With the possible temporary discontinuation of the Pulsar N150, Bajaj now has just one 150 cc Pulsar on offer that is available as part of the ‘Classic’ range. The Pulsar 150 boasts the same OG body design that debuted more than a decade back. The Pulsar N150 was powered by a 14.3 bhp-strong 149.68 cc single pot producing 13.5 Nm of peak torque, whereas the Pulsar 150 produces 13.8 bhp and 13.25 Nm from a slightly smaller 149.5 cc mill .

2024 Bajaj Pulsar N150 and N160

The Bajaj Pulsar N150 was updated last year with new colours and a digital console with Bluetooth connectivity. It was available in two variants wherein the base-spec did not get the Bluetooth console and was priced at ₹1.24 lakh, while the top-spec variant with the BT console cost ₹1.31 lakh (both ex-showroom, Delhi). This was just ₹2,000 less than the Pulsar N160 which was available with all the bells and whistles.

There might be an update of the same in the anvil or a new Pulsar in the future. But currently, the new NS400Z has hit the streets and you can know all about it in our first ride review below:
