Images of the production-spec Pulsar NS400 have also leaked online, revealing its front section.
As we gear up for the launch of the biggest Pulsar ever on May 3, Bajaj Auto has been warming to the occasion by releasing several teasers. The latest gives us a glimpse of the Pulsar NS400’s golden upside-down fork, and carbon fibre finish for several body panels including the one the radiator shrouds. The front fender section is also visible with the graphic “Dual-Channel ABS”.
The second teaser comes just a day after images of the production-spec Bajaj Pulsar NS400 were leaked online. Those revealed the front section of the upcoming bike, which looks along the same lines as the recently updated Pulsar N250. Thereby, the headlight cowl will boast of the same single-pod LED headlight, but instead will be flanked by large lightning-bolt styled LED DRLS, with more cuts and creases for a more aggressive appeal. You can check out the leaked image here.
Mechanically, the Bajaj Pulsar NS400 will share the same 373 cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine that also does duties in the Bajaj Dominar 400 and the KTM RC 390 and 390 Adventure. This mill produces 39.42 bhp and 35 Nm on the Bajaj power cruiser while on the KTMs it makes 43.5 bhp and 37 Nm. We will have to wait and watch what tune Bajaj is likely to add to the upcoming Pulsar. While we hope it is the sportier KTM tune that fits the Pulsar’s powerful image well, the likelihood of the Dominar tune arriving is pretty high and that might just disappoint enthusiasts slightly.
Pricing-wise, we are expecting that Bajaj will price the bike aggressively, somewhere between ₹2.15-₹2.20 lakh. For all the latest details, keep an eye out on this space as we get you all the latest details from the event.
