The three new Flying Spurs were created by Bentley's Mulliner luxury custom-building division.

Bentley has announced the creation of three new bespoke Flying Spur cars, developed and personalised by its Mulliner division. Each car celebrates a major milestone for the company, and all three have been added to its Heritage Collection, maintained at its campus in Crewe, England. 2025 marks the 60th anniversary of the 1965 Bentley T Series, the 40th anniversary of the iconic 1985 Turbo R, and the 20th anniversary of the 2005 Continental Flying Spur W12.

The British luxury carmaker says each of these models marks a pivotal moment in its history, defining the evolution of its four-door sedans. The new 2025 Flying Spurs are intended to “echo the spirit and visual impact” of each corresponding model. While the company recently made a significant investment in its India presence, these three commemorative cars are unlikely to be showcased here.

The original T Series was launched at the Paris Motor Show in October 1965, and was Bentley’s first car with a monocoque chassis. Its modern-day tribute is a Mulliner Flying Spur Azure in Shell Grey, a colour that the company’s paint shop remastered from the original. The blue-grey interior main hide is also colour-matched to the car that inspired it. It features the same colour on its 22-inch tri-spoke wheels and bright chromework along its length.

Its 680 PS hybrid powertrain is multiple generations ahead of the 1965 car’s 202 PS 6.2-litre V8 engine. The tribute car is also outfitted with Burr Walnut on its fascia, doors, console, and picnic table. Features lacking in the original include mood lighting, Naim for Bentley audio, a rotating display, and Wellness Seating with massage functions.

Next, the company is honouring its 2985 Turbo R with a Mulliner Flying Spur Speed, equipped with an “Ultra Performance Hybrid powertrain” that delivers 782 PS with its V8 and electric motor combined. Its acceleration of 0-100 kmph in 3.5 seconds is approximately twice that of the original, which could reach 62 miles per hour in 7 seconds with its 6.75-litre V8.

Mulliner has finished the Flying Spur Speed in Brooklands Green, with a Monaco Yellow coachline and self-levelling wheel badges and an illuminated stainless steel Flying B radiator mascot. The interior is decked out in Linen and Cumbrian Green hide and a dual-tone Open Pore Dark Burr Walnut over Cumbrian Green Piano veneer with Signal Yellow accents on the seat piping, mats, and steering wheel.

Finally, the Continental Flying Spur W12 from 2005 is the inspiration for a new Mulliner Flying Spur Speed finished in Cypress, with 22-inch ten-spoke sports wheels and a carbon fibre front spoiler and sills. Its interior features a unique Special Green, created specifically for this tribute, on both its main hide and trim elements. Its dual-finish fascia uses Open Pore Dark Burr Walnut and glossy Burr Walnut separated by a Cypress Green pinstripe.

Bentley’s Heritage Collection now includes 50 cars ranging from a 1919 EXP2 3-Litre to the 2023 Speed Six Continuation Series ‘Car Zero’ test unit, all kept in pristine running condition.
