For the first time, Bentley is launching the convertible Continental GTC simultaneously with the coupe.
Bentley Motors has introduced the fourth generation Continental GT Speed, continuing a legacy that spans over two decades. The new Continental GT Speed boasts a comprehensive redesign, both exterior and interior, reflecting Bentley's new design language seen in models like the Bacalar and Batur. The exterior features the most significant revision in two decades, including the introduction of single headlamps, a nod to Bentley's heritage with a modern twist.
Under the hood, the car is powered by an all-new Ultra Performance Hybrid powertrain. This system combines a 4.0-litre V8 engine with a 187 bhp electric motor, delivering a total of 771 bhp and 1000 Nm of torque. This hybrid setup enables the car to accelerate from 0- 100 kmph in just 3.1 seconds and reach a top speed of 335 kmph. Additionally, it offers an 80 km electric-only range and a total range of 859 km, demonstrating a commitment to performance without sacrificing sustainability.
The performance is complemented by a new chassis system that includes two-chamber air springs, dual-valve dampers, Bentley Dynamic Ride, an electronic limited-slip differential (eLSD), and torque vectoring. This setup ensures exceptional body control and the best ride comfort in the Continental GT's history, supported by a 49:51 rear-biased weight distribution. Technological advancements are at the forefront of this model, featuring a new 400-volt electrical architecture that supports the most advanced powertrain technology.
The interior continues Bentley’s tradition of world-leading craftsmanship with new wellness seat technology, air ionisation, and three-dimensional leather textures. The inclusion of modern quilting and technical finishes such as dark chrome enhances the luxurious feel. The infotainment system has seen significant upgrades, including wireless Apple CarPlay, wireless Android Auto, and over-the-air map updates. The My Bentley App Studio offers a range of downloadable applications, enhancing the digital experience for drivers and passengers alike.
For the first time, Bentley is launching the convertible Continental GTC simultaneously with the coupe, offering customers flexibility in their choice of open-top or closed-roof motoring. Both models will be handcrafted at Bentley’s Dream Factory in Crewe, with deliveries expected to begin in the third quarter of this year.
