For the first time, the GS Experience Level 1 and Level 2 modules are being conducted simultaneously on separate tracks in multiple batches, each batch accommodating 20 Smart CC (310 GS) riders and 20 Core (650 CC and above) GS riders.

The Level 1 training programme is designed to help participants understand and master the fundamentals of off-road riding. The curriculum covers basic motorcycle familiarisation, correct rider posture, enduro steering techniques, and practical exercises including off-road riding, emergency stops on slopes, emergency braking, and riding on inclines. Upon successful completion of Level 1, riders automatically become eligible to progress to the Level 2 training module.
The GS Experience Level 2 Training Programme is structured to further develop off-road riding capabilities for advanced participants, with a focus on navigating challenging terrains and complex riding scenarios. A central component of the programme is the refinement of correct riding posture, which is essential for maintaining balance and control across variable surfaces such as sand, gravel and slush.
In Level 2, participants are introduced to the Enduro Pro mode, which optimises motorcycle dynamics for off-road conditions through calibrated adjustments to ABS, traction control and power delivery. This configuration supports controlled emergency braking and improved handling across demanding landscapes.

The curriculum also includes advanced enduro steering techniques to enhance precision during tight cornering and low-speed manoeuvring. Riders undertake practical sessions on off-camber surfaces to develop stability and control on uneven gradients, along with structured training on extended uphill and downhill sections.
Additional modules focus on riding techniques specific to sand and gravel, emphasising throttle modulation and body positioning. The programme further covers quick U-turn manoeuvres and motorcycle recovery procedures on slopes, equipping participants to manage unpredictable real-world off-road conditions with greater confidence and competence.

The eligibility criteria for participation are clearly defined. Riders must hold a valid motorcycle driving licence and own a registered BMW GS model specified for the programme. The motorcycle must be road-legal and maintained in safe operating condition. Any safety-related modifications must receive prior approval before participation in the training.
The use of full protective riding gear is mandatory. This includes an ISI- or ECE-approved helmet, gloves, a riding jacket with protective armour, riding pants, and enduro boots. Participants are required to be physically fit. The consumption of alcohol or drugs is strictly prohibited.
All riders must sign a liability waiver prior to commencement of the programme and remain responsible for their own motorcycles throughout the training. Health and vehicle insurance coverage is strongly recommended. Full attendance is compulsory to qualify for certification, and participants are expected to adhere strictly to the prescribed schedule.
