The Vision Neue Klasse is a significant car for BMW.
BMW has been slowly revealing details about its upcoming electric car, the Vision Neue Klasse. The latest teasers on social media show the car's front fascia and taillights. The front fascia bears a striking resemblance to the kidney grille and hood ribs of the i Vision Dee, which was unveiled in January at the 2022 CES in Las Vegas.
The closed-off grille appears to incorporate lighting elements, which BMW says is part of its effort to make "individual mobility more human, intelligent, and responsible”. The taillights are also a departure from BMW's traditional design. They are made up of red elements that could be a wide light bar. The Vision Neue Klasse is still a concept car, but it is expected to be close to the final design of the production model, which is scheduled to launch in 2025.
The Vision Neue Klasse is part of BMW's plan to become an all-electric brand by 2040. The new car will be based on the company's new electric vehicle architecture, which will also be used for other upcoming models. The Vision Neue Klasse will be produced at BMW's new plant in Debrecen, Hungary. This plant is scheduled to begin production in 2025.
The Vision Neue Klasse is a significant car for BMW. It represents the company's commitment to electric vehicles and its vision for the future of mobility.
