The BMW Z4 facelift comes to India as a CBU
BMW has launched the Z4 facelift in India and it comes priced at Rs. 89.30 lakh. The company first launched the Z4 in India in 2019 and now with the facelift, BMW wants to lure the roadster loving buyers. Mind you, the launch comes just weeks ahead of the Mercedes-Benz SL in the country, so great tactical move by the company to get the first mover strategy.
The new BMW Z4 Roadster comes to India as a fully built unit and will be available in the M40i variant, which is an M Performance model. Under the hood, the Z4 comes with a 3-litre inline six engine generating 380bhp and developing 500 Nm of peak torque. The engine will be mated to an 8-speed Steptronic automatic transmission and for those looking for a manual, well, there will be none because the company will only bring the automatic to the country. The company however promises a wide range of optional equipment.
Vikram Pawah, BMW Group India said, “Driving memories are made of intense moments. Hitting a curve just right. Turning loose on a freeway. Dropping the top so the wind hits your hair. The BMW Z4 Roadster is the perfect machine to experience those moments.”
