Bolt.Earth and Atul Greentech launch India’s first nationwide home EV charging program, bundling chargers with vehicle purchases to simplify ownership and boost adoption.
Bolt.Earth, India’s largest EV charging network, has announced a strategic collaboration with Atul Greentech Private Limited to launch nationwide Home Charging Program.
This initiative aims to make professionally installed home chargers a standard feature with every EV purchase, addressing critical barriers to EV adoption: charging accessibility and consumer confidence.
The three-year rollout plan includes:
- Phase 1 (Oct 2025–2026): Strategic alignment and process standardization.
- Phase 2 (2026–2027): Nationwide home charger deployment, customer education, and joint awareness campaigns.
- Phase 3 (2027–2028): Smart-charging integration, renewable energy solutions, and predictive maintenance.
Bolt.Earth will manage installations, uptime, and technical support, leveraging its existing infrastructure of 1,00,000+ chargers across 1,800+ cities. CEO S. Raghav Bharadwaj claims that they’re making EV charging as routine as charging a phone, with seamless scan-pay-charge experiences.
Under the agreement:
- Bolt.Earth provides real-time data, billing support, and passive-income opportunities for charger hosts.
- Atul Greentech integrates the program into its dealership network, ensuring warranty coverage linked to safe charging practices.
- Future expansions include renewable-powered charging, AI-driven maintenance, and geographic diversification.
This partnership aims to build a resilient EV ecosystem, combining Bolt.Earth’s technical scale with Atul Greentech’s manufacturing expertise to accelerate India’s electric mobility transition.
“While India’s public charging network has expanded five-fold since FY22, access and convenience remain the biggest hurdles for EV owners,” said Mr. Divya Chandra, MD, Atul Greentech Private Limited.
