However, this price cut comes with a catch.
Motohaus India, the authorised distributor of Brixton Motorcycles in the country, has announced a substantial price reduction on the Crossfire 500 XC scrambler as part of its festive season promotion. The scrambler is now priced at ₹3.99 lakh (ex-showroom), representing a considerable drop of ₹1.26 lakh from its earlier pricing. However, this special offer applies only to select units and remains valid until 31 October 2025.
The Crossfire 500 XC showcases an appealing modern-retro aesthetic that blends classic scrambler elements with contemporary styling. Design highlights include a circular headlamp, a pronounced beak-style front mudguard, a squared-off fuel tank, and a round number plate mounted beneath the seat—all characteristic touches of traditional scramblers. Cross-spoke wheels add to its vintage-inspired appeal. Feature-wise, the motorcycle maintains a straightforward approach, offering dual-channel ABS, LED lighting throughout, and an inverted LCD instrument display.
At its heart lies a 486cc parallel-twin engine generating 47bhp and 43Nm of peak torque, mated to a six-speed gearbox. The motorcycle rolls on 19-inch front and 17-inch rear tubeless spoke wheels fitted with dual-purpose tyres suitable for varied terrain.
Suspension componentry consists of a fully adjustable KYB upside-down fork at the front, while the rear features a monoshock with adjustable preload and rebound settings. Braking duties are carried out by a 320 mm front disc and a 240 mm rear disc, both equipped with J.Juan callipers.
This pricing strategy appears timed ahead of Brixton's upcoming launch of the Storr 500 in December. The adventure tourer will mark the brand's entry into India's rapidly growing ADV segment, and the current promotional offer on the Crossfire 500XC could serve to boost brand visibility ahead of that significant launch.
